Welcome to our website

Welcome to the Weymouth Louviers website. Four years on now and we have certainly been busy since our new website was launched in May 2020 at the start of the Covid-19 pandemic. It does seem surreal now to keep referring to that time and to keep using it as a reference point in time, but if nothing else, it certainly gave us the time and space to create a new website from scratch. Now in May 2024, we have just celebrated our second year of visits to Louviers in France and visits from Louviers to Weymouth. Last year was the first full year of visits since Covid-19. This year we are breaking with tradition and are making our visit to Louviers earlier than normal. We are going for the weekend of the 24^th – 25^th August to join them in their 80^th year liberation celebrations. Yes, 80 years since Louviers was liberated towards the end of the second world war. For us in the UK we be celebrating D-Day in June of 2024. We are certainly looking forward to that. Please take a look at our website and feel free with your comments.
